About the
Workshop
Your human talent makes the difference! The ability to attract and retain top performers has become a critical aspect for banks and financial institutions, especially in these times of market uncertainty and fierce competition. With the growing competition to recruit and retain top talent, financial institutions have identified a common, reoccurring strategic priority - the need to strengthen their employee engagement strategies to engage the best and the brightest.
Brought to you by The Banking Academy, this workshop will equip HR practioners a well-developed holistic Employee Engagement Plan to sustain the bank's bottom line over the next two years. Attend this workshop to obtain quantifiable strategies guaranteed to deliver real dollar basis points to your organisation's bottom line.
Unique features of this workshop
| • |
Holistic, "no gimmicks" approach to systemic employee engagement. |
| • |
Tailored training that engages, motivates and drives lasting behavioral change. |
| • |
Examines strategic insights to bottom line measures directly linked to the level of employee engagement. |
| • |
Participants will be challenged to evaluate the management effectiveness of the "other" asset portfolio: The People Portfolio. Compare the list of needed strategies with the "typical" list of loan portfolio risk management strategies. Apply the "next generation" thinking to rules of long term engagement. |
| • |
Understand the demographic differences applied to motivation, job satisfaction, compensation, work/life balance and succession planning. |
| • |
Workshop delivery methodology features lectures, participatory class discussions, video, role play and group work. |
| • |
A case study will be utilised that examines the role of organisational structure, leadership capacity and strategic thinking aligned with retention "Best Practices." |
Prior to the workshop, participants will be encouraged to complete a brief online Assessment relative to employee engagement. Come armed with quantitative data regarding the "state of engagement" at your bank relative to a composite benchmark. Immediately identify the strength/weakness engagement strategies against a ranked composite databank benchmark. Composite assessment results will be used during the workshop to present "real time" applications of Best Practices.
